Anderson Injectors provide positive displacement feed? What is positive displacement? Positive Displacement is analagous to a hypodermic syringe, where a measured dose is pumped into the water stream. Some feed methods, such as siphon types, do not accurately measure the feed, and the feed can change with variations in both water flow and pressure.

Anderson Injectors provide volume proportioning . The injector measures the water flow to determine the volume so that an exact volume proportion of chemical can be injected in real time. We do not need interconnections to a pump or flow switch to turn on chemical feed. If water flows, by gravity, from city mains, or by your own pump, our injector will detect the flow and add the correct volume of chemical automatically.
